He may be a hard man on the field, but Nick is one of the nicest guys off it - Family, Culture and Respect mean more to him than any rugby accolade.
North Harbour, and that Auckland Blues team of the mid 2000's (Google them!), that Munster team of the late 2000's, Ulster and the Cardiff Blues - He has and still played with some of the best players of the last 20 years!
One of rugby's great servants, he gives a fascinating insight in to growing up in Auckland, and forging his own career away form the All Blacks
